The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards have revealed their nominees highlighting the best that TV has to offer. Shōgun, which debuted earlier this year lead the pack with 25 nominations. Followed by The Bear at 23, Only Murders in the Building at 21 and True Detective: Night Country at 19.
Each network was represented this year, with Netflix leading with 107 total nominations with Baby Reindeer, The Crown, and Ripley. FX came in second with 93 nominations which was a personal best due to the success of Shōgun and The Bear.

Drama was split this year with half of the nominations for best ‘Outstanding drama series’ coming from returning shows including ‘The Crown’, ‘The Gilded Age’, ‘The Morning Show’ and ‘Slow Horses. Newcomers included ‘Fallout’, ‘Shogun’ ‘3 Body Problems’ and ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’
This will mark the last year for ‘The Crown’ as it’s final season wrapped last year. The series that followed the royal family has won a total of 21 Emmys since it debuted in 2016. ‘Shogun’ landed the most nominations of all shows across all categories with 25 nominations.

Everyone’s favorite Chef, and series ‘The Bear’ continues to break records as the series brought in 23 Emmy nominations making it the most nominated comedy series at the Emmys.
‘The Chef’ last year virtually swept their categories in the Primetime Emmy awards with wins for Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Ayo Edebiri. The series saw it’s third season debut just last month and we expect the series to continue to perform well during award season.
