Casting Workbook Announces New York City Office and Appointment of Justin Turnblom as Managing Director

Los Angeles, June 17, 2024, Casting Workbook Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Susan Fox, announced today the opening of its first office in New York City along with the appointment of Justin Turnblom as Managing Director.

Turnblom will be based in New York City and will co-lead Casting Workbook’s next phase of growth and innovation in the US market. Casting Workbook is the fastest growing casting platform in the world, with teams in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia and Spain.

Turnblom’s experience includes successful roles at Nielsen, Shutterstock, Casting Networks and as a Casting Director in Los Angeles. “I am incredibly impressed with Susan’s vision for our industry along with the talented team she has built and I am honored in the trust she has placed in me for this new role”, said Turnblom.

Fox also confirmed today that existing executives JB Cohen and Alex Carvajal both based in Los Angeles were appointed Managing Directors. Cohen will co-lead business initiatives in the US marketplace with Turnblom while Carvajal will lead initiatives in Spanish markets.
