Renowned Mexican Actress and Producer Paulina Soto Oliver to Host the Series

Mexico City. February 12, 2024 – Susan Fox, Founder & CEO of Casting Workbook announced today the relaunch of its popular web series “The Working Actor” in Spanish. Created during the pandemic, “The Working Actor” educates and supports Actors by offering engaging and entertaining interviews with industry professionals who provide valuable insights into the business of acting. Already offered in English, the new Spanish version will target Spanish-speaking markets.

The new Spanish series will be hosted by Paulina Soto Oliver. Hailing from Mexico City, Paulina is an accomplished actress and producer, and TV host. In “The Working Actor”, Paulina takes the helm, conducting insightful interviews with industry professionals. Each episode features candid discussions with casting directors, agents, and seasoned actors, who share their expertise, experiences, and invaluable tips for navigating the acting profession.

“The Working Actor” series in Spanish will debut on Thursday, February 15 at 12:00 p.m. (CST) on Casting Workbook’s YouTube channel and will feature special guests, talent manager Maria Ibañez and Colombian actor Camilo Jiménez, who recently starred as Rafa Salazar in Netflix’s hit series Griselda alongside Sofia Vergara. During the episode, Paulina will speak with Maria and Camilo about acting techniques, as well as the audition and selection process that Camilo went through to land the role of Rafa in the popular series.
